Our Hearts Are A-Flutter!

Wow!! I am so honored and flattered that the editor of stunning Flutter Magazine asked me to create a special "Flutter Paper" page for their 10th issue! Like, wha'?!

Each edition of Flutter Magazine has a "Flutter Paper" page- a visually inspiring mixed media print that reflects the breathtaking designs and color palettes that steal the show in the featured weddings of every issue. As the editor states, it's "Designed in collaboration with admired artists from around the world, these perforated pages are easily removable and repurposable." Readers are encouraged to frame them, wrap up a pretty package or two, craft paper flowers - whatever they fancy!"

In return, each artist (like yours truly), along with a snapshot of their work, is mentioned within the editor's letter at the beginning of the publication. Each artist's work is credited on the back side of the printed artwork.

If you're not familiar with Flutter, it's a quarterly, high-end, fine art, print publication with national distribution in the United States through Barnes & Noble as well as select independent retailers.

All pre-order magazines will ship on Thursday, June 9 and will begin appearing in stores the week of June 20.

We're so excited!!

This issue marks Flutter mag's 2nd annual Honeymoon + Travel edition featuring the most picturesque dream destination getaways both near and far. By the time you're finished reading...  you'll be packed and ready to go! Cover photo was taken in Charleston by Eric Kelley Photography.

My final artwork for Flutter Issue #10. It highlights my watercolor illustrations as well as my obsession for flora, fauna and science charts. It also reflects Flutter's article on the wedding of Ivy and Keith in Beaulieu Garden. I added grape vines because one of the famous aspects of this venue is the twinkling light vine trellis that everyone dined under and the surrounding vineyards.
